Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has called for creating new provinces, saying Pakistan’s existing administrative system needs major reforms. Addressing the Pakistan Pharma Healthcare Expo, Kamal questioned why political concerns arise over provinces while deaths from open drains receive less attention. Kamal said Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cover larger areas than several countries. Moreover, he highlighted Pakistan’s population growth since the creation of the four-province structure.
