So it made perfect sense that Captain Positive himself would hop on stage with Mumford & Sons on Tuesday night (Aug. 11) to help out on a rousing rendition of the Mumford-penned Lasso theme song. The show’s theme song was co-written by Mumford singer Marcus Mumford and composer Tom Howe and sung by Mumford. THR reported that later in Tuesday’s show, Mumford tried to get the audience to quiet down by threatening to “sick Ted on you.” Ted Lasso returned for its fourth season earlier this month, following a retired-from-coaching Lasso as he juggles being a Kansas City dad with the allure or returning to Richmond to coach the city’s new women’s soccer club.
