If the season ended after the August 10 slate of games, the San Diego Padres (third place in the NL West) would be on the outside looking in at the 2026 postseason.
Ryan Cohen, a member of Jomboy Media, is just one of the loudest Padres fans taking aim at the Dodgers after Los Angeles's six-game losing streak.
Cohen specifically called out Dodgers fans for "playing the victim" and using the six-game skid as a reason to prove that the club isn't ruining baseball.
Between the contracts handed out to Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado, and Xander Bogaerts, San Diego has spent $970 million.
Now, what Dodgers fans are actually concerned with is what the losing streak means with regard to the club's end goal, a third straight World Series title.
