Clitheroe Food Festival draws 25,000 as traders sell out early

The park-and-ride scheme reached full capacity by 10.30am, with many vendors selling out before midday and calling for more supplies.
Ricky Newmark, chairman of Ribble Valley Borough Council’s economic development committee, said: "The warm weather and fantastic food and drink combined to attract thousands of festivalgoers to Clitheroe, who clearly enjoyed a great day out.
