Chris Platt joined the business in 2004 as a 16-year-old trainee plant operator and has since worked his way through nearly every area of the company.
Chris Platt, director of operations at Burlington Aggregates, said: "I've been incredibly fortunate to spend my entire career with Burlington Aggregates.
Since joining the company in 2004, Mr Platt has gained extensive experience in plant operations, aggregate production, and maintenance.
Allen Gibb, chief executive of Burlington Aggregates, said: "Chris's story says a great deal about the kind of business Burlington Aggregates is.
Burlington Aggregates is currently investing in expanding its product range and long-term growth plans, including enhanced e-commerce capabilities and local delivery options through its bulk bag service.
