MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) The South Punjab Inter-Divisional Independence Day Baseball Championship will be held in Multan on August 20 as part of the celebrations marking Pakistan’s Independence Day. Divisional Sports Officer Multan Atta-ur-Rehman Khan said this while addressing a meeting held to finalize arrangements for the championship. The event is being organized by the Sports Department Multan in collaboration with the Punjab Baseball Association. Punjab Baseball Association Secretary Muhammad Jameel Kamran said a training camp for pitchers and catchers from across Punjab would be held on August 19. The Inter-Divisional South Punjab Independence Day Baseball Championship would then be organized at the Divisional Sports Complex Multan on August 20.
