Clackmannanshire Council has approved the proposals to change the use of the former Orlandi’s Café on Sunnyside Court. The premises will be combined with the flat above to form one two-storey house. Approving the application, council planners said the plans represented an “appropriate reuse” of an existing vacant property. “In the context of the housing emergency and the predominantly residential nature of this area, the change of use in principle is considered to be acceptable. “The proposal will introduce residential accommodation at ground floor level within an area that is predominantly residential in character.”
