Mokoena’s influence in the way Sundowns play is without doubt, which is why opponents have taken to rough play in seeking to neutralise him. Cardoso is still not impressed that the Bafana Bafana star didn’t get protection after being targeted through unscrupulous means by Rise and Shine players. "Teboho Mokoena was not in the match today, and I would like to speak about that," said Cardoso after getting all three points at Mbombela. "It is a very rough one, and this player (from Polokwane City) was not even yellow-carded on this action.
