Greene King has said it is looking at putting dozens of sites on the market as part of a major shake-up dubbed "Project Portico".
The company owns pubs including The Tudor Arms and Estcourt Tavern, as well as The Red Lion in Rickmansworth.
Venues will be put up for sale either individually, or as part of larger groups, Greene King said.
Nationally, Greene King operates around 2,500 pubs, including approximately 1,000 leased, tenanted and franchised venues.
Earlier this year, fellow pub giant Stonegate said it was considering offloading around 1,000 of its sites.
