(LifeSiteNews) — A 14-year-old German student faces a fine after skipping out on a pro-LGBT workshop in school. The parents of the 14-year-old boy in eighth grade did not want their son to attend the event and kept him out of school that day. However, since the school pointed out that it was a mandatory class and insisted on his attendance, the student now faces a fine. After the event, the student received a letter from the local district office informing him that proceedings to impose a fine had been initiated. According to the organization, it is Bavaria’s “only queer youth organization with a youth center and youth café.”
