The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) has introduced a Computer-Based Testing (CBT) system for upcoming ability tests, marking a shift toward digital examination methods.
According to the commission’s 17th Schedule of 2026, the first computer-based tests are scheduled to begin on September 24, 2026.
Each computer-based test will consist of 45 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the prescribed qualification for the relevant post.
This will help candidates understand the computer-based testing process and avoid difficulties during the examination.
The introduction of the CBT system is expected to modernise KPPSC’s examination process and provide candidates with greater familiarity with digital testing methods.
