Supporters of President Bola Tinubu trooped out in their hundreds in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, to mobilise support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Munirudeen Oyebamiji, in Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State. The mobilisation, organised by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in the state, took off at the popular Ayetoro Junction and proceeded through Igbona, Old Garage and Olaiya-Ayetoro Road, as supporters sang and mobilised support for the APC candidate. Speaking with journalists during the roadshow, the coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Oluomo Sunday Akere, expressed optimism that the APC candidate would win the contest convincingly on Saturday. What we have here today is the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ structure in Osun, mobilising support and telling the people of Osun that it is time for change. Also speaking, the Director of Security for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Osun, Amos Adekunle Victor, called for a violence-free and peaceful election, adding that everybody should come out and vote.
