Fans can look forward to even more classic releases by Aspyr from the beloved franchise in the future! The question now is what The Lord of the Rings games could be in for the remaster treatment? While there’s hardly a shortage of candidates, I’d personally like to highlight the brilliance of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, both of which came out on PS2 and were actually great movie tie-ins. Return of the King also offered some great co-op action, so that would be a good start. Beyond that, there’s also the turn-based RPG The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age and The Lord of the Rings Conquest, both of which would be solid candidates.
