Claire's Accessories UK has collapsed into administration with debts approaching £20million, following the closure of all 154 of its remaining stores. The retailer's collapse has brought an end to its high street presence across Britain and Ireland, with 1,300 members of staff losing their jobs after the stores were shuttered in April. Claire's Accessories UK itself first entered administration in August 2025, when Christopher Pole and William Wright of Interpath were appointed to oversee the insolvency process. The latest administration therefore represents the second time in less than a year that Claire's Accessories UK has required formal insolvency intervention. The latest collapse adds Claire's Accessories UK to the list of retailers to have faced financial difficulties amid challenging conditions across the high street.
