HQThe signing of FC Barcelona striker Ferran Torres by Paris Saint-Germain is all but confirmed. After many rumours, Torres did not participate in his first day of training for Barcelona today, alongside the rest of teammates from Spain (Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Pau Cubarsí and Pedri). It is only a matter of time, and David Ornstein from The Athletic reports that talks are still ongoing "over a small price gap", but the deal is expected to be finalised this week. Torres signed for Barcelona in 2022 after playing for Manchester City and his home team of Valencia. The 26 year old could have been the logical replacement for Robert Lewandowski at Barcelona, but it seems inevitable now that Torres will play under Luis Enrique for PSG next season.
