(Southeastern IN) – Thousands of Southeastern Indiana residents were without power early Wednesday following Tuesday’s storms. Southeastern Indiana REMC was reporting 97 outages impacting co-op members in Ripley, Dearborn, Jennings, Jefferson and Switzerland counties. Areas affected by outages included St. Leon, Bright, Guilford, Delaware and Pierceville, among others. A check with Decatur County REMC showed all members were back on line as of Wednesday morning. It is not known when power will be restored to those affected.
