The initiative, led by Hertfordshire Trading Standards, focused on tobacco and vaping products, aiming to prevent their sale to children and ensure compliance with age-restriction laws.
"We were pleased to engage with retailers across Hertfordshire, helping them strengthen their procedures and understand their legal responsibilities.
"By working together, we can help prevent underage access to tobacco and vaping products and create safer, healthier communities for everyone."
The campaign ties into Hertfordshire County Council’s broader efforts to limit young people’s exposure to nicotine.
Residents who have concerns about illegal or underage sales of tobacco or vaping products are encouraged to report them anonymously to Trading Standards.
