‘ONE NIGHT ONLY’ – One night. Too many complicationsBy Janet GrantSomething is refreshing about a romantic comedy that is willing to be a little ridiculous. Recently dumped Owen (Callum Turner) and hopeless romantic Allie (Monica Barbaro) meet on this very unusual night and immediately feel a connection. And I have to give Gluck credit for making a mainstream romantic comedy that actually feels like it is trying to entertain us. Still, One Night Only is exactly what I wanted it to be: a fun, slightly silly romantic comedy that does not take itself too seriously.
