The application, reference PA26/04500, seeks permission for a single-storey modular building beside the existing rugby pitch at Crane Park, Cranberry Road. It would be formed from two converted 40ft shipping containers and used on matchdays, for training and events, and by players, officials, sponsors, spectators and community groups. It is described as an ancillary addition to the established rugby club rather than a separate venue. The club also proposes to review travel and parking conditions during the first year of operation and amend its event-management arrangements if issues emerge.
