“I volunteer with the Memory Cafe and also with the outreach we now do in care homes and day centres. Carolyn helps at the Memory Cafe, which is led by soprano Daniela Hathaway and pianist Colin McPhee. “At the Memory Cafe we have created such a bond with the people who come along. The Memory Cafe is one of several groups run by Lyle Gateway during the week, including an Alzheimer Scotland session led by volunteers. The Memory Cafe takes place from 11.30am to 1.30pm at Lyle Gateway, Lyle Kirk, 31 Union Street, Greenock.
