Sellers in the YO postcode had to reduce their asking prices by an average of £10,864 (or 3.46 per cent) over the last 12 months, the findings by homebuyers and auctioneers Property Solvers showed. The company tracked 3,954 property transactions between August 2025 and August 2026 and compared the monthly updated asking price compared with the difference of the sold price, as lodged at the HM Land Registry. Across this region, 14 sellers were knocking off an average of £17,800 from the initial asking price in the 12 months to August 2026, Property Solvers found.
