North Wales is preparing for its most dramatic solar spectacle in a generation this evening, as a deep partial solar eclipse sweeps across the UK. Amy Jones, who runs Amy's Jewellery & Gifts, received 10 pairs of glasses off Flintshire Council for her stall at Mold Market. "After it was shared on the Mold Market Facebook page last night that I'd have a small number of glasses, my Facebook page crashed with the amount of messages I was getting from people. People queued outside Mold Market hoping to buy a pair of solar eclipse glasses. For those unable to get hold of eclipse glasses, indirect viewing methods such as a pinhole projector provide a safe alternative.
