Bhubaneswar: Eleven Post-Diploma DNB seats have been approved in three government medical colleges of Odisha, paving the way for specialist doctors to provide healthcare services at almost every level in the state.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in New Delhi has approved a total of 11 Post-Diploma DNB seats in five broad specialties in three government medical colleges of the state.
These seats have been accredited in Shri Jagannath Medical College and Hospital in Puri, Bhimbhoi Medical College and Hospital in Balangir, and Shaheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital in Koraput.
Out of the total 11 seats, 05 seats will be reserved for the doctors working in Odisha and 06 seats will be available under the all-India quota.
This new post-diploma DNB training opportunity will increase the number of specialist doctors in the state.
