The suspects have been identified as Olufemi Olatunji (39), Ajayi Idowu (31), Akingbala Oluwakemi (40), and Adekunle Basirat (40). According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, the arrests stem from a formal petition addressed to the Commissioner of Police regarding the alleged offenses. “Additionally, a pump-action firearm was recovered from the residence of Akingbala Oluwakemi, the wife of Akingbala Akindele (known as “Ostand”). Reiterating the Command’s zero-tolerance stance on crime, Ojelabi emphasized the police’s commitment to protecting lives and property and maintaining public peace. He also urged members of the public to continue providing credible and timely information to assist security agencies in combating crime across the state.
