The homes are planned for Mowbray Village in North Horsham after Bellway completed a land purchase and submitted a reserved matters planning application for the scheme, which includes one, two, three and four-bedroom properties designed with air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points. Fern Whiles, planning manager for Bellway Southern Counties, said: "Our detailed plans are for a landscape-led development that respects its surroundings. Bellway’s scheme covers a 6.4-acre site at the northwestern edge of phase one of the Mowbray Village development. Of the 82 planned properties, 72 will be for private sale and 10 will be affordable homes. If the plans are approved, Bellway could start construction work on site in the autumn.
