Newhaven Fort is hosting family activity days on August 13, 20 and 27, all designed to offer hands-on fun and creative learning during the school holidays. Councillor Johnny Denis, Cabinet Member for Tourism, said: "These themed days are a fantastic way for families to enjoy Newhaven Fort during the summer holidays. Each event is packed with activities that spark imagination, creativity and learning and we’re delighted to be able to offer such a varied programme again this year." Nature Day follows on August 20, offering guided bug hunts at 12pm and 2pm, nature crafts and the chance to make Alder bees. Fort manager Lindsay Lawrence said: "Our team loves hosting these activity days, they bring such energy and excitement to the Fort."
