Workington Town Ladies to host charity game in honour of teammate's sister

Workington Town Ladies RLFC will host a charity day this Sunday, August 16 in honour of one of their players sisters Maisie Turner, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
The ladies will take on Rochdale Hornets at the Fibrus Community Stadium Workington, kick off 12pm.
The Workington Town men's team then taking on Rochdale Hornets men's team from 4pm.
Earlier this year, the Workington Town Ladies RLFC team, of which Maisie's older sister Leia is a member, took on a '24 hours no quit SAS: Who Dares Wins' style challenge, raising over £2,370 for Maisie and her family.
Tickets are available for the match on the day, or via the Workington Town RLFC website.
