Vagabond, known for its self-pour wine machines and relaxed, interactive approach to wine, will open its first high street venue outside London in five years at part of the former Browns Brasserie site on Duke Street. "It’s been a while since we opened a new bar outside of London, and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to do it. The venue will feature Vagabond’s signature self-serve wine machines, allowing guests to explore more than 100 wines by the glass at their own pace. The Brighton site will include a private dining room for group events and tastings, as well as a stainless steel bar inspired by the tanks used in the company’s wine production. Vagabond was acquired by Majestic Wine in 2024 as part of an expansion into experiential hospitality.
