Wiltshire Police worker Hollie Clark competed in the Police Sport UK (PSUK) Southern Championships Blue Lights Horse Show, held in Chard, Somerset, on Saturday, August 8. Despite a six-week break due to poor weather, ground conditions and a busy schedule balancing work and family life, Ms Clark and her horse Figgy secured a series of podium finishes. "To come away with the Show Jumping Champion and Overall Show Champion titles was a brilliant achievement, and it was great to be part of a winning mixed services team, too.” She earned first place in the 90cm and 1.10m classes, second place in the 1m class, and was named both PSUK Show Jumping Champion and Overall Show Champion. During the event, Ms Clark displayed a Thin Blue Line flag as a mark of respect and solidarity with the wider policing family, remembering PC Andrew Harper and acknowledging recent events affecting officers across the country.
