Four kilometres of underground pipes in Wincham are being upgraded as part of a £1m investment by United Utilities (UU). United Utilities has notified customers in the area to let them know about the work. Ros Casson, parish councillor for Wincham, said: “Wincham Parish Council is very pleased to announce a major investment from United Utilities in our village. “It is a huge undertaking and there will be disruption whilst the work is carried out but United Utilities is truly committed to working with the community to minimise disruption during this time.
