A familiar face in the American Rivers Conference is joining the Central College men’s basketball coaching staff, as Andrew Curran will be on the bench as an assistant coach this winter. Curran will be Central’s junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach. A five-year letterwinner at Simpson College, he was a second team all-conference pick in 2021 and scored over 1,000 career points. for the last two seasons, serving as a junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach. During his playing career at Simpson, he coached for the Iowa Suns AAU Basketball program.
