Telangana's growing corporate giving and private wealth could position Hyderabad as an important centre for structured philanthropy and impact investment in India and Asia, as the city prepares to take a larger role in the region's social impact ecosystem. The 13th edition of AVPN's annual conference is being held in India for the first time. AVPN said Hyderabad's expanding base of enterprise, private wealth and institutional giving is creating opportunities for more strategic approaches to social impact. These initiatives, according to AVPN, reflect a wider shift in India's CSR and philanthropic landscape towards greater accountability, collaboration and scale. Batra also highlighted the role of leaders such as Sangita Reddy, whose work spans healthcare innovation, public health, policy and philanthropy, in driving cross-sector approaches to social impact.
