At next Wednesday's planning meeting, proposals for 934 homes across the borough will be brought before the council, with many already set for refusal. Another two in Billericay, totalling 60 homes, and two in Laindon, will also be debated by the committee next week. However two of the proposals totalling 610 homes will be decided by the Planning InspectorateDevelopment - Space has been set out for around 28,000 homes across the borough. Plans for 56 more on the other side of London Road, also submitted by Sandmoore, have been appealed on the same grounds. Other recent applications include 950 homes off Southend Road in Billericay and 179 off Gardiners Lane North, Crays Hill.
