Mark Francois, MP for Rayleigh and Wickford, visited the site in Rayleigh this summer to see how construction work is progressing. The new school is being built at the Wolsey Park development in Rawreth and will be the first dedicated SEN school in the Rochford district. The development sits next to the 500-home Wolsey Park scheme and forms part of wider plans to expand specialist education provision in the county. The trust already manage the Castledon special needs school in Wickford alongside three secondary schools and one primary school.
