Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden, said the championship celebration was an example of the community coming together. Golden also thanked the Kats and their fans for their role in bringing the championship to the community. “I just want to say a big thank you to all the Kats, and all the Kats fans, because this has been an absolute great season,” Golden said.
