A Chinese company has offered to invest and cooperate in electric rickshaws in Pakistan to promote affordable and environmentally friendly transportation. The proposal was discussed during a Pakistan-China joint investment conference held at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). A delegation of Chinese investors attended the event and explored investment opportunities in different sectors of Pakistan. According to the Chinese representatives, electric rickshaws currently available in Pakistan can cost more than Rs1 million.
