The mother of Afrobeats star, Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, Nene Aderibigbe, has promoted her daughter’s forthcoming ”Starr Girl” album on the streets of Lagos ahead of its Friday release. Aderibigbe, popularly known as Genzmummy on Instagram, shared a video showing herself, the singer’s sister and other women promoting the album. The placards carried messages including “Stargirl album out on the 14th of August” as the women promoted the forthcoming project on the streets. The street campaign comes as Ayra Starr prepares to release ”Starr Girl”, her third studio album, following 19 & Dangerous, and The Year I Turned 21. Ayra Starr had earlier announced that ”Starr Girl” would be released on Aug. 14, with the project expected to mark her latest album release.
