The smoke is due to several wildfires raging in South Wales. In Conwy, residents who have been affected by smoke drifting from wildfires have been urged to keep doors and windows shut. Thousands of people across the region, including in Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Conwy town, have reported smoke in their areas which have drifted up from Mid and South Wales. North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has received multiple calls from the public relating to "smoke", prompting a statement which said: "Our control room is receiving a lot of calls this morning relating to smoke. "We can confirm that the smoke is travelling from the wildfires currently burning in South Wales.
