The Social Security Administration has added 14 new health conditions to its list of those eligible for fast-track disability benefits under the Compassionate Allowances program. With this addition, there are now 314 total conditions eligible for the Compassionate Allowances initiative, the SSA announced on Aug. 11. The Compassionate Allowances list fast tracks the application process for disability benefits for individuals with certain serious diseases or medical conditions.
