‘Dress in lingerie for the Boss’: Inside the trafficking case against a Durban businessman
[]
IOL
The man, who cannot be named until he has pleaded to the charges, is a Durban businessman and former policeman.
The charge sheet in the fresh matter, seen by IOL, cited him and five others.
The offer reached them by WhatsApp, in the name of a company called ICLICK, and three of the 20 counts deal with those messages alone, the charge sheet said.
The instruction about the lingerie came from the second accused, the charge sheet said.
Three counts of trafficking in persons, one for each woman, alleged they were moved from Johannesburg to Durban to be sexually exploited, the charge sheet said.
