A total sleeper-hit on the menu at Dripp Donuts & Hot Chicken, the legendary Shotgun Fries. Dripp Hot Chicken takes center stage, and those massive Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches start flying out of the kitchen. Imagine a massive pile of perfectly seasoned, hand-cut fries loaded with bite-sized pieces of crispy hot chicken, drizzled with the Nashville-style hot sauce and house-made ranch, and topped with their signature homemade pickles. Owner Caleb King originally pitched him the idea for a simple hot chicken food truck, but the vision kept growing into the fantastic brick-and-mortar spot we have today. When I asked Chef Crumb about his background, he revealed his family is originally from Memphis, and if anyone knows how to do fried chicken right, it’s Memphis!
