What the lawsuit claimsAccording to TMZ, the disputed material is a spoken-word introduction from a song called "Moonraker," performed by musician John Holiday. Hirose Enterprise says it holds the rights to that song and contends that the introduction appears in "Alien Superstar" without its authorisation. The company further alleges that no licence was in place at the time Renaissance dropped. According to the lawsuit, Beyoncé's company was formally notified of the alleged infringement but continued to commercially distribute the album and profit from the disputed content. It is worth noting that the lawsuit contains allegations that are yet to be tested in court.
