KARACHI: The Collectorate of Customs Appraisement at Port Muhammad Bin Qasim has issued a standing order establishing operational procedures for M/s. The order, Standing Order No. All cargo containers arriving at the terminal must be scanned at port terminals with scanning reports attached. Goods deliveries will be based solely on customs release messages received through the WeBOC system, and customs gate staff will verify each release through their system identification credentials. The order states that any conflict between the standing order procedures and the Customs Act, 1969, or related rules and instructions will be resolved in favor of the latter legal provisions.
