A psychiatric nurse practitioner who treated Lindsay Clancy testified this week about the medications, messages and appointments that shaped her care in the two months before Clancy killed her three young children in Duxbury, Massachusetts. According to testimony, Clancy messaged Jollotta on Dec. 3, 2022, describing "horrible intrusive thoughts" and a deeply depressed mood, and reported that taking Ativan improved her symptoms. Jollotta testified she raised concerns at that meeting about a possible underlying bipolar disorder. Jollotta testified she was not aware of that assessment. Testimony from additional medical providers who treated Clancy is expected to continue as the trial proceeds in Plymouth Superior Court.
