The new Final Destination: Death’s Playground haunted maze will join the lineup during Fright Fest 2026 that runs on select nights from Sept. 18 through Nov. 1 at the Valencia amusement park. Every night of Fright Fest will start with a new “Unleashed” opening scaremeony starring a new icon character known as Kurvatu. The Conjuring Universe maze that debuted in 2024 at Magic Mountain will be back again during this year’s Fright Fest with updated scenes and elements. Vault 666 and Willoughby’s Resurrected round out the Fright Fest haunted house lineup as the two other returning mazes. Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest stole the Saw and Stranger Things franchises away from Universal’s Horror Nights in recent years.
