Matthew Hannam, who operates the Sauchiehall and Argyle Street outlets, said: "Seeing our teams come together to support this litter-picking relay has been incredibly rewarding. Teams collected a total of 17 bags of rubbish while covering around 4.5 kilometres through the city. The event was supported by environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful, which provided equipment and helped collect litter bags. Keep Scotland Beautiful also had two team members join the clean-up effort. "We all have a responsibility to keep Scotland beautiful and, having worked with McDonald's for a number of years, we know it's a lot easier when we all work together."
