Last week, Greater Manchester Police's Chadderton Neighbourhood Team said it had received reports of noise, littering, and anti-social behaviour linked to groups gathering at the Ancora car park, located on Broadway. The Chadderton Neighbourhood Team said it would set up patrols in the area to deter further incidents and has now provided an update. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers have heightened neighbourhood patrols in the area over the past week, which had led to "a reduced rate" of anti-social behaviour. The force did confirm that no arrests have been made in relation to incidents at the car park. Police previously urged residents to continue reporting incidents to help them target the area effectively.
