The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced ₦7 million as the final fare for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage and maintained August 25, 2026, as the deadline for registration by intending pilgrims. He warned that the Board would not extend the August 25 registration deadline, urging intending pilgrims and relevant stakeholders to adhere strictly to the directive to avoid any last-minute challenges. “Any registered intending pilgrim who fails to submit his or her valid international passport on or before 25 August 2026 may not be allocated a Hajj seat,” he said. He also called on all prospective pilgrims to take note of the approved fare and registration deadline and make the necessary preparations ahead of the pilgrimage. The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has consistently urged intending pilgrims to comply with registration requirements early to facilitate seamless planning and coordination of Hajj operations.
