Medical officer Dr Sandeep Pagare had told media outlets that 110 to 130 people were bitten, primarily by one white stray dog near Sandeep Hotel in the Khadakpada area. According to a News18 report, Dr Sandeep Pagare said all the patients told authorities they had been bitten by a white dog.
