Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday affirmed that the State government is ready to collaborate with the Indian army to encourage the state's youth to participate in various Indian Army recruitment drives. The Chief Minister appealed to the army authorities to organise training programmes in some identified district headquarters to create awareness among local youth in army recruitment. General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command of the Indian Army Lieutenant General C. Rajesh Pushkar, met Revanth Reddy. During the meeting, Revanth Reddy and the Army official discussed various issues, including army recruitment. Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar assured that he would instruct local Army officials to take special initiative during disaster situations in Telangana.
